Eida - Discussion B

Eida's Note

A note found inside Eida’s bedroom.

From the handwriting, one can assume the writer was Eida himself.

The note talks about the different characteristics of each race.

  • Humans

Has no magical capability, and does not particularly excel in physical strength. By using sources of knowledge like grimoires and magic books, they can create magic circles for defenses and the like, but that’s about the limit of what normal humans can do. A small percentage of humans, though, can wield supernatural abilities.

  • Beastmen

Has no magical capability, but excels greatly in physical strength. Their whole body is covered in fur and/or hair. Has sharp claws and fangs, suitable for killing their prey.

  • Seafolks

Each seafolks has a different magic capability, and its intensity differs depending on the seafolk. Some can use deadly poison, and some can use magic to imitate their appearance to that of someone else.

They all have extremely high self-healing abilities. As long as their vital points are not hit, they can completely heal themselves just by drinking water.

To make sure that their body always gets moistures, large scales store small amounts of water and it covers up parts of their body not visible to the others’ eyes.

  • Dragons

Some of them have magic capabilities, some don’t.

Has iron-sharp claws capable of killing, and scales strong enough to withstand blades. All dragons can use a common skill “Flare Burst”, a fire breath with catastrophic power said to be strong enough to even lay waste to a whole country.

  • Fairies

All fairies have very high capabilities for magic, but their physical strength is significantly weak compared to other races.

One fairy can only use one type of magic.
