【Drago Walsroder, King of Dragons】

King of the dragon race. Has calm personalities and oft plays the role of coordinating the people around him. Has extremely sharp claws and can launch a fire breath with tremendous destructive power. But despite it all, he strongly believe in the idea of no-violence. He is somewhat stoic and doesn't show his emotions a lot.

Main Scenario A

~Talk with the King~

The atmosphere of Loden castle appears dimmer and quieter than the one I remember 10 years ago.

When I opened the front door and entered the grand hall, it seemed like the other representative had finished talking with King Eida.

I walked past them, but everyone’s expression showed a hint of great sorrow and anger.

When I entered the throne room, King Eida was already sitting on his throne.

“King Eida, it has been a while.”

“Oh, Drago. How nostalgic. Let's keep our talk short.”

King Eida said so while getting himself up from his seat and walk towards me.
I noticed his figure was obviously different from the King Eida I knew 10 years ago.

His usual warm expression was nowhere to be found.
His eyes darkened and his voice felt cold to the bone.
'Twas as if he’s a completely different person.

“King Eida, will today’s meeting talk about how to strengthen the peace agreement? I shall aid you in any way I could.”

When I told him so, he let out a laugh.
But it wasn’t his usual soft laugh.
With his mouth curled up cunningly, it resembles a sneer more than anything else.

“That peace agreement is of no use to me any longer.
I will now choose the path of domination.”

“...Care to elaborate?”

I cannot make heads nor tails of what he’s talking about.

“The Holy City of Kataliah truly has a great power slumbering there. A power great enough to change the whole world. And I will use that power to conquer the whole continent.”

“What will you do with the peace agreement you worked so hard to achieve 10 years ago?”

“Drago, that agreement is merely to buy enough time for me to prepare for my conquest.
Do you really think five different races could live in harmony together?”

The just king Eida I once knew had completely disappeared.
No, that too might just be a mere pretense to fool me.

That warm smile I admired might have always been a mere facade.

What stands before me now is an evil king tempted by conquest through power.

At that moment, I remembered my promise.

“I will surely make a mistake in the future.

When that time comes, Drago, I want you to end my life.”

King Eida once told me so.
I have now strengthened my resolve to stop this evil king standing in front of me.

Even if that means I need to take his life…

Main Scenario B

~To Stop King Eida~

I need to stop the evil king Eida. But what should I do. If there’s a way for me to stop him without killing him, that would be ideal. But if that’s not feasible, what should I do.

00:00 -Promise-

I walked from the parlor to the stair, and went up to the second floor.

I need to talk to King Eida once more.

I still believe the promise we made 10 years ago was not just a mere facade.

King Eida at that time looks like he truly wished for peace on all races of this continent.

I arrived at the stair and proceeded to head towards the throne room.

00:10 -To the Throne Room-

I opened the door to the throne room.

King Eida was there, sitting on his throne.

“Do you have no intention to reconsider your choice?”

I tried to reaffirm King Eida's intention.
He then gets up, and faces his back towards me.

“Of course not.
I’m sure you realize it too. There’s no proper order on this continent.
That is why I need power to conquer them all.”

I sense a strong will through his words.

And it became all the more clear to me that the just king Eida I know is no longer here.

'twas then I determined to do something.

But what is it that I was trying to do.

I don’t know why, but I can’t remember anything from here.

I can’t remember what I was doing during this time.

00:40 -Meeting Eida-

When I came to, I was already at the parlor.

I was supposed to talk to King Eida in the throne room.

But here I am, finding myself standing in the parlor room.

And looks like I have no recollection of what happened 20 minutes ago.

I felt something was amiss, and hurriedly back to the throne room.

00:50 -Scream-

When I was going up towards the throne room from the stairs, I heard a woman’s scream.

When I arrived at the second floor, I could see King Val peeking from behind the dining hall door.

I entered the throne room, and was greeted by a shocking scene.

In front of the throne, King Eida lies limp on the ground.
His breathing had already stopped.

01:00 -Eida-

Prince Stan and Princess Lily entered the throne room.

Upon noticing King Eida’s body, the two were taken aback as well.

I was supposed to still be talking with King Eida.

King Eida’s body was at the center of his own pool of blood, and near him lies a small sword.

Did someone killed King Eida?

Or was it me all along…
